Peace advocates gather in Jolo for OPAPP’s ‘Dialogue Mindanaw’ today |

JOLO, Sulu -- PEACE advocates from different walks of life take centerstage as they gather here today, Saturday for the inaugural staging of “Dialogue Mindanaw” -- one of the two series of consultations undertaken by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) for the peace process in Mindanao.
“Dialogue Mindanaw” is highlighted by Reflective Dialogues where 300 participants representing various groups, including local government units, academe, non-government organizations, religious, business sectors, fisherfolks, farmers and diverse general public including women, youth, Christians, Lumads and Muslims exchange ideas and opinions regarding the peace negotiations between the government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

FOR almost four decades, Buboy Garovillo, Danny Javier and Jim Paredes, collectively known as Apo Hiking Society, have been serenading fans with hit songs after another.
